With over 20 years of experience in taxation, accounting, and academic leadership, Lorenzo Ghiggini is a highly respected International Tax Adviser specializing in complex cross-border structures and international tax frameworks. He holds the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT), is a Certified Tax Adviser (CTA), and possesses multiple Master’s degrees in Tax Law.

Extensive International and Academic Background

Lorenzo brings a rare combination of practical advisory experience and academic excellence. Prior to joining Affinitas FZCO, he served as a Lecturer and System Course Team Leader at Higher Colleges of Technology (UAE), where he designed and delivered UAE Taxation courses, contributing to the education of future tax professionals in the region.

Earlier in his career, Lorenzo worked as a Tax Adviser at Relieva Ltd (Latvia), advising multinational clients on international tax planning, VAT compliance, fiscal residency, transfer pricing, withholding tax optimization, and M&A tax due diligence. His experience spans multiple jurisdictions and industries, making him particularly well-suited to advise internationally operating businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

Professional Affiliations and Language Skills

Lorenzo is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (United Kingdom) and the Latvian Association of Tax Advisers, reflecting his strong standing within the international tax community. He is fluent in Italian and English and has working knowledge of Russian, enabling effective communication with a diverse international client base.
